2. Guidelines for oral presentation

Abstract submissionAbstracts can be submitted only via the online Abstract submission system in Japanese.
Six digits of membership number and password are necessary for an application. The membership number is written in the top right corner of the address label of the envelope, to which a bulletin for the Japanese Society for Food Science and Technology is sent. Please inquire to the following office concerning membership number and application of oral presentation.

Period for submission of abstract Until 17:00, May 14 (Thu), 2015
The correction of the abstract is acceptable until 17:00 on Monday, May18, 2015.

Presenting SpeakerPresenting speaker will be limited to one person for regular members, student members, permanent members, or honorary members. For a supporting member, its representative can nominate two persons as presenters (per one unit). For an organization member, its representative can nominate one person as a presenter. The coauthors except the presenter will not be under these limitations.
Program:The Annual meeting Program committee will determine the format, day and time of presentation. If you want to present a series of studies, please inform the order to the committee.
Presentation timePresentation:12 minutes and discussion: 2 minutes.
Presentation methodOnly document camera device will be available for oral presentation. Please prepare presentation document printed on A4 size papers. Please operate the document camera device by yourself.
Session categoryPlease choose the session category as the first choice and the second choice by selecting the checkbox on the web page against the category numbers (1-41).Please consider it, if we shift your presentation to another session from your requested one for convenience of the program formation.

 

3. Registration and fee

Participants may pre-register to the annual meeting and the party for academic exchange online by 17:00, August 14, 2015 with early-bird registration fee as below. You do not have to pay before the meeting. Please pay at the meeting venue.

4. The 11th meeting for young researcher of meeting for the Japanese Society for Food Science and Technology

The 11th meeting for young researchers will be held on August 28 (Fri), 2015. At this meeting, poster presentation will be performed by young researchers and the presentation will be evaluated.
This competition is planned for providing the opportunity for the presentation of results by young researchers and for free discussion among participants.
Based on the votes by participants, excellent presenters will be selected and commended in “mixer” session.

1) Presenter must be a member of the society and a graduate school student or a non-student of less than 35 years or younger
2) A poster (A0 version) of same contents as presented for oral presentation must be prepared.
3) Application must be done on the same page of oral presentation on the web. Please check the box for “young researcher meeting” presentation.
