The 1st day, August 29th (Thu.): Award ceremony, Lecture by award winners, Special lecture, Symposium, Academic exchange party (Time 6:30 p.m.~8:30 p.m.), Exhibition
The 2nd day, August 30th (Fri.): Oral presentation, Symposium, Young researcher meeting (Poster presentation), Mixer session, Luncheon seminar, Exhibition
The 3rd day, August 31st (Sat.): Oral presentation, Symposium, Luncheon seminar, Meeting for special topics, Exhibition

 

2. Registration and fee

You can pre-register online for the annual meeting and the party for academic exchange until 5 p.m. (JST), August 15th (Thu.), 2019 and receive a discount of 16% on the early-bird registration fee and banquet fee as below. The fees must be paid at the time of registration by credit card. Deadline for early-bird registration:5 p.m. (JST), August 15th (Thu.), 2019

◯ Registration cancellation and refund policy
There is no cancellation or refund after pre-registration. Please note that the transfer fee and the academic exchange fee cannot be returned for any reason. The conference's book of abstracts will be sent by postal mail.

◯ Conference cancellation and notification
In the event JSFST must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather or natural disasters, it will notify registrants by email or through its website.

※Please note that refunds cannot be made for the transfer fee and the academic exchange meeting fee. The conference's book of abstracts will be sent by postal mail.

 

3. Guidelines for oral presentation

Abstract submission:Abstracts can be submitted only via the online Abstract submission system in Japanese. The membership number and password are necessary for an application. The membership number is written in the top right corner of the address label of the envelope, to which a bulletin for the Japanese Society for Food Science and Technology will be sent. Please contact the following office if you have questions about your membership number and/or your oral presentation application.

Period for abstract submission:April 1st (Mon.) - May 10th (Fri.), 2019 (5 p.m. JST)
Corrections to the abstract will be accepted until 5 p.m (JST) on Wednesday, May 17th (Fri.), 2019.

Presenting Speaker:As a first author, each participant will be limited to one “Presenting Speaker” role. This applies to regular members (including online members), student members (including online members), permanent members, and honorary members. As coauthors, participants will not be bound by any such limitations.
